The Union County COVID-19 Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP) provides financial assistance for rent, utilities (gas, water / sewer, electricity, internet) and security deposits. This program seeks to bridge the gap for those who have lost income due to COVID-19.
Your current gross household income must not exceed 80% of Area Median Income (AMI) as defined by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development. Your household income must always remain within the program limits for continued participation.
Note:
Priority will be given to households with a household income of 50% or less of Area Median Income (AMI) or with one or more household members that have been unemployed for 90 days or more.

Union County has taken the initiative to support families negatively affected by COVID-19 by allocating funding through the U.S. Department of the Treasury Emergency Rental Assistance Funds for the Union County COVID-19 Emergency Rental Assistance Program to disburse the funds in the community.
To be eligible to receive the emergency rental, utilities, and or security deposit assistance, you must meet the criteria below.
Yes. With special approval, applicants can receive assistance for up to 3 months of prospective rent. However, this only happens once, and you can only receive arrear payments after three months of future rent payments.

Due to an overwhelming response and an influx of Emergency Rental Assistance applications, we regret to announce that the Union County ERAP is completely out of funding and the application portal is closed. There are no staff working because the Union County Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP), is officially closed.
Curry Davis Group no longer has authority over the application process and is unable to provide any information concerning your application. There is no longer an appeal process because there are no funds.
